The Simspons longevity?

Personally I love the Simpsons but the series has gone on far too long. The Simpsons are currently airing season twenty! Personally I believe the Simpsons should have ended around season ten. Though it does have the title of longest running sitcom. The Culture Blog sums it up well by saying: "There's a feeling that The Simpsons Movie has come too late, with the show's writing already past its best. The quaint storylines with heart have gone, replaced by bizarre, disjointed plots (Principal Skinner as Armin Tamzarian in season nine, anyone?), and the characters, if such a thing were possible, have become caricatures of themselves. I have to completely agree with the above statement. The Simpsons has gone far past its prime. Matt Groening (Creator of the simpsons) said that once a movie is made that it will most likely note the end of the series. I wish he was right! Two more seasons have gone on since the movie was produced. When will it end?!
